Bloodbound

Bloodbound is a hand-drawn top-down arcade shooter, in which your blood is your ammunition. Therefore, you have to lose and gather pieces of yourself to survive.

As you explored the depths of the local arcade, serendipity leads you to chance upon a vast old book resting near to one of the disabled consoles. In the midst of your curiosity, as you unfurl its aged pages, the book bestows upon you a papercut. Undeterred by this minor inconvenience, you proceed to peruse the contents within, wherein the inscription begins:

Verily, this book is accursed, thus if thy blood doth stain its pages, if by chance a paper wound thou dost receive, thou shalt be transported unto a realm anew wherein thou art compelled to vanquish all manner of fiends.
